- Rom mi3w hoàn toàn up được cho mi4 bình thường
- Tất cả các bản rom đều phải up bằng twrp hoặc cwm, trước khi up nên backup dữ liệu hoặc backup toàn bộ để nếu phát sinh vấn đề gì có thể quay trở lại lúc đầu
- Nhiều bản rom không có sẵn GApps, nên down về để cài sau khi up rom
- TWRP/CWM thường đưa ra tùy chọn "fix root/ fix permissions" nhưng để đảm bảo tính toàn vẹn của bản rom tốt nhất không nên chọn
- Để sử dụng cảm biến hồng ngoại trên cm13 phải chuyển SElinux từ enforcing sang permissive
- Các bản rom nền Cyanogenmod đã có sẵn root không cần cài SuperSu

- Flash rom Windows Mobile 10 hay flash từ rom này về Android có thể gây mất Bootloader, nên suy nghĩ kỹ trước khi flash rom này
